EVENTS & PHOTO GALLERY The Johnson Creek Historical Society will be meeting at the gazebo in Veteran's Park on Monday, July 19th at 6:00 p.m. for its bi-monthly meeting. A pot luck will be held there and anyone is welcome to attend and asked to bring a lawn chair and silverware. The guest speaker will be Mr. Allen Bohnert, a Johnson Creek native who has worked for the National Park Service as an archeologist throughout the country, including the Smithsonian. In recent years he has worked extensively in the southwestern United States. Mr. Bohnert's family owned and operated Bohnert's Corner Bar in Johnson Creek for many years. Mr. Bohnert will also be donating some items to the society that evening. In case of inclement weather the meeting and potluck will take place in the JC Public Library meeting room.
